Elye is Gila’s President, responsible for leading growth and guiding operational management.
Elye joined Gila in 2004 and has nearly twenty years of experience in financial services and public-private partnerships with governments of various sizes, including city, county, state, and toll road agencies. Elye also supported Gila on two exit events as a member of the executive team, the first to private equity and the second to Gila’s parent company, Navient, in a 2015 acquisition. Prior to Gila, Elye built extensive career experience in telecommunications with AT&T as well as supply chain management and distribution logistics with Things Remembered, a subsidiary of Enesco, LLC. Elye helped pioneer a variation of the cross-dock logistics for Things Remembered that is still used today by some of the nation’s largest suppliers. His varied industry knowledge allows Elye to lead the Gila team with a fresh perspective, and helps our company view our government clients’ needs through a unique lens, providing innovative, multifaceted solutions.
Elye is a Life Member of the American Academy of Certified Public Managers, a Member of the American Society for Public Administration and Government Finance Officers Association, and a Designated Mentor for the Future Business Leaders of America Organization.
Elye earned his bachelor’s degree at Texas State University in San Marcos, and he graduated with Great Distinction from the BAI Graduate School of Retail Banking. Elye also is a Certified Public Manager (graduate certificate signed by former Texas Governor Rick Perry).
