You can make payments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our payment website. You will need your reference number and the zip code from the letter you received.

You can pay using Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit or debit cards. You also can pay by using your checking, savings, or money market account.

Payments may be made in the form of personal or business check, money order, and cashier's check. Do not send cash by mail.

Please make your check payable to Municipal Services Bureau and write your full name and reference number on the check.

Please allow 5 business days for your payment to arrive in our office by mail. If your payment is received after the due date, you may incur additional fees. Payments made to Municipal Services Bureau take 1-2 business days from receipt of payment to post to your account.

Fiserv (Financial Services) accepts payments in person at many Walmart, Kroger, H-E-B, and Kmart stores and other locations.

Some locations may only accept cash, and there may be fees associated with payments made this way. Your reference number or payment coupon is required to make a payment in person.

For NYC residents only– the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs requires us to request and document your preferred language. You may inform us of your language preference by contacting us at 800-616-0166. Also, a translation and description of commonly used debt collection terms is available in multiple languages on the Department’s website,

MSB conducts its business in English but also offers limited verbal and written translations and services in Spanish on some accounts/clients. Please note that we cannot guarantee our verbal translation and support services/language access services will always be available in Spanish during business hours, and they may not be offered or available for certain accounts. If not available, we will communicate with you in English.
